Happy Thanksgiving Day and more.....Decorating Ideas from the City and Mountains Group

First I want to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving.  This is the time of year that gives people the opportunity to get lost in the wonderful feeling of the holidays.  Whether it's the simply joy of taking some time off work at home or spending time with family and loved ones; going skiing in the snowy Rocky Mountains or escaping to a tropical beach.  Here are a few decorating ideas no matter where you spend the holidays:

Hollow out several mini pumpkins and use them as candle-holders for your holiday table decor.

Take a walk in the forest and gather pine cones.  Place them in a medium baskets or decorative bowels.  Put them anywhere in the home that needs a little holiday feel.  Decorate with some artificial Fall Maple Leaves and Autumn grasses.  These items can be found at Michaels Craft Shops Colorado Locations.  Remove the leaves after Thanksgiving and add some pine boughs, red berries and a red bow for a nice Christmas decoration.  HomeDepot gives away free Christmas tree clippings a most locations!
